Nostalgic post

Long, long time ago, at the end of April, I have visited Edinburgh. I should rather say 're-visited' because I used to live there. This was first visit since I moved out, almost 2 years ago and it was...quite weird...

I definitely moved on with my life, left some good, some bad memories, gained a lot of experience and some wonderful friendships... Although it is always going to hold a special place in my heart, it was good to realise that it is a chapter of my life that is closed. For good.

The reason of my return is not a pure nostalgia, as one could think reading my emotional intro, I'm very pragmatic person, nostalgia rarely is visitor in my life, and if so, it rather sneaks silently than takes a lead...

Alright, enough rambling. I went for my best friend's hen's night. It was great fun. And here are some Edinburgh memories...
Meadow Walk, gorgeous weather

Pub Doctors- place opposite my college, dreamt I would be one of them one day (a doctor, not a pub:)) And look at that sky! <3

Kilimanjaro Coffee- lovely full breakfast! And it wasn't to dear- under £10. I used to come there for the best soup ever- double Gloucester & potato- but I think they stopped making it:(. Anyways, quite cheaply you can eat soups, sandwiches, paninis, drink coffee, smoothies. It is a great meeting place, always very busy though!

Gorgeous Edinburgh Castle peeking out through the blossom of Princes Gardens.

The Elephant House- where the Harry Potter was born (i.e. JKK Rowling started writing the books in this cafe place)... A bit too touristy but brownie was really nice. And the toilets are actually worth seeing;)

Next day... the weather wasn't as great... Yet Edinburgh, as always, breathtaking... Will be back, I promise...
